Located in a rural setting, this new high school building features state-of-the-art facilities for use both by the students and by the community at large. Classrooms, library and administration are organized around a courtyard, which faces an open, three story entry spine along which the arts, laboratories, auditorium, gyms and cafeteria spaces are located. Demolition and new construction work were phased for an uninterrupted school year. Value engineering helped keep construction cost within budget. We worked closely with the School Committee and the Faculty to insure their needs were met.
